Sondheim‘s cut-throat masterpiece returns to Oxford Playhouse. Presented by OXOPS, Sweeney Todd is an epic tale of classism, oppression and revenge.
This thrilling new production strips the story back to its raw emotional core. Against an industrial landscape, an ensemble cast brings London’s darkest corners vividly to life as one man’s search for justice spirals into an unforgettable tale of vengeance and mental turmoil.
Attend the tale this January and experience Sondheim‘s extraordinary score, razor-sharp wit and a tragic warning of what happens when society pushes its people over the edge.
